Nashville, TENNESSEE – Right after 8 a.m. Saturday morning, Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The fatal crash occurred in the 7800 block of Highway 100.
The responding officers discovered that the 54-year-old driver left the roadway on the left side and struck a tree.
The driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital where he later died.
He was later identified as Casey Perry.
The responding officers found no indication of alcohol or drug involvement.
This incident remains under investigation.
