Nashville, TENNESSEE – Metro Nashville Police Department said the hit-and-run accident occurred on Nov. 18.
It happened on East Trinity Lane.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers said that the 64-year-old victim was found lying in the middle of East Trinity Lane.
His name is Joe Franklin and police said he suffered serious injuries.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. He died on Wednesday, police said.
