Wilson County, TENNESSEE – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred around 4:15 Thursday.
It happened on Carthage Highway.
Authorities said a Ford Mustang was going eastbound on Carthage Highway.
The vehicle then crossed over into the westbound lane and struck a Dodge Charger.
The 20-year-old driver of the Ford Mustang was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Laylon Palk.
Police said that 1-year-old passenger in the Ford Mustang was injured.
The driver and the passenger of the Dodge Charger were also injured.
All three victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
