Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the shooting occurred right before 3 a.m. early Wednesday morning.
It happened on 12th Avenue South.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult female victim.
Authorities said the unidentified victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
No suspects have been arrested yet, police said.
