Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the police officials, this incident occurred right before 11 p.m. late Saturday night.
It happened outside the Speedway convenience market at 1975 Murfreesboro Pike.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
The responding officers discovered that the shooting followed an argument between the victim and shooter who are believed to know each other.
The suspect then fled the scene in a red sedan.
The 24-year-old man, who was shot in the torso, is being treated at a local hospital, police officials said.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives are assisting in this case.
