Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the police officials, his name is Redear Haji and he was taken into custody early Friday morning.
The 24-year-old man is now charged with felony marijuana and gun charges.
This incident occurred right before midnight late Thursday night.
It happened in the 100 block of Evelyn Drive.
The unidentified woman reportedly stole marijuana during a burglary.
The 24-year old resident told investigators that he discovered a burglar in the garage, retrieved his pistol from inside the home, opened his living room window and looked outside.
The unidentified woman was climbing out of a garage window when Haji yelled for her to stop.
He told investigators that he shot the woman as she allegedly reached for something.
The responding officers executed a search warrant and found two pounds of marijuana, $45,700 cash and an AK-47 pistol.
This incident remains under investigation.
