Maury County, TENNESSEE – MCFD officials said this incident occurred around 10:41 p.m. late Wednesday night.
It happened in the area of Elk Ridge Road.
Maury County Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.
The responding crews reportedly saw black smoke coming out of the attic.
They were able to contain the fire to the primary bedroom, leaving minimal damage to the rest of the home.
The homeowner managed to escape with minor burns.
The cause of fire remains under investigation.
