Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the police officials, the 29-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Friday.
His name is Fernando Flores and he is now facing multiple charges, including: evading arrest, felon in possession of a firearm and vandalism charges.
Metro Police said the suspect’s vehicle was traveling on I-65 South and Old Hickory Boulevard.
The responding officers and troopers were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle to a parking lot.
The 29-year-old suspect reportedly drove his vehicle into a police vehicle and escaped from the parking lot.
The police chase ended on Central Pike where the suspect’s vehicle crashed.
The 29-year-old suspect was booked into the Metro jail.
He is being held on $65,000 bond, court records say.
Metro Police officials said Flores had two outstanding warrants for aggravated robbery and felony theft.
