Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, her name is Sara Noriega and she was arrested on Wednesday.
MNPD officials say the 40-year-old woman crashed into the police car on Bell Road near Percy Priest Dam.
MNPD officer Burke was inside the car at the time of the crash.
He was reportedly blocking the roadway while working a crash that happened earlier.
Officer Burke was not seriously injured.
This incident remains under investigation.
