Clarksville, TENNESSEE – According to the Clarksville Police Department, his name is Mark Ellis and he was taken into custody on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the shooting that happened early Sunday morning at the Waffle House in the 1600 block of Ft. Campbell Boulevard.
Ellis is now charged with multiple charges, including: possession for resale (narcotics), simple possession/casual exchange and unlawful drug paraphernalia and felon in possession of a firearm.
The responding officers reportedly found the suspect with a loaded firearm and a felony amount of narcotics with him.
This incident remains under investigation.
