Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, his name is Edil Hernandez and he was shot early Saturday morning.
The shooting occurred right after 3 a.m. in the 4500 block of Nolensville Pike.
Metro Police said the 22-year-old victim was shot in the head from a passing vehicle.
Investigators believe the shooting could be the result of a dispute with a relative at the San Jose Fiesta Restaurant.
Witnesses told investigators that the victim was followed by a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and another vehicle.
