Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the Nashville Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred on Friday.
It happened on Mt. Pigsah Rd.
Nashville Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.
The responding crews saw smoke coming from the home.
No one was home when crews arrived on scene.
They were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
The responding crews reportedly found two dogs inside.
Unfortunately, one of the dogs was deceased, officials said.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, officials said.
