Nashville, TN – According to the police officials, the suspect, later identified as 42-year-old Jermaine Jenkins reportedly murdered 43-year-old Christopher Goodale on West Trinity Lane.
Officers were aware that Jenkins frequented Hampton Street and located him there. He is now jailed in lieu of $500,000 on a charge of criminal homicide.
Goodale was found in a gas station parking lot with a fatal gunshot wound. The investigation led by Detective Ben Hughes, identified not only Jenkins as the suspected shooter, but two other individuals who are tied to the getaway car.
The 38-year-old car owner, William Henderson, and 41-year-old Stephanie Raymer, who was driving the car when it was recovered by police, are both facing charges of accessory after the fact and evidence tampering. Henderson is in custody. Raymer is at large.
A dispute between Jenkins and Goodale is believed to have been the motive for the fatal shooting.
