Nashville, TENNESSEE – Police officials said that four juveniles were taken into custody Wednesday night after officers pursued a stolen vehicle involved in a carjacking and theft.
All four suspects, who were not identified due to their age, were arrested on Old Hickory Boulevard near Andrew Jackson Parkway.
MNPD officials said the responding officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on Old Hickory Boulevard at Hicks Road when the stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee fled.
The police chase continued to Andrew Jackson Parkway until the vehicle was disabled by detectives.
Five occupants in the stolen vehicle attempted to flee, but four were immediately apprehended.
Authorities are pursuing strong leads to identify the fifth suspect.

Three of the four teens arrested were found to be involved in a Tuesday carjacking where a vehicle was taken by multiple suspects with a BB gun on Premier Drive, Metro Police said.
The 17-year-old driver, who was not identified due to his age, was charged with carjacking, motor vehicle theft, misdemeanor and felony evading arrest, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and being a runaway from his foster home in Mt. Juliet.
