Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the police officials, the fatal crash occurred on Sunday.
It happened on Nolensville Pike at Cotton Lane.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash.
The responding officers discovered that the 26-year-old driver of Nissan Rogue went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
The 26-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her 18-year-old female passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Their identities have not yet been released.
Toxicology testing will be conducted to determine whether impairment played a role in this fatal crash.
