Murfreesboro, TENNESSEE – According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, his name is Myron Jenkins and he was charged on Wednesday.
Police said the 26-year-old suspect was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his 39-year-old ex-girlfriend, Shanna Gibson.
The shooting occurred around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
It happened in the 1400 block of Old Lascassas Highway.
The 26-year-old man is being held at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
