Nashville, TENNESSEE – According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the shooting occurred right after 5 p.m. Friday.
It happened in the 1100 block of Arbor Knoll Boulevard.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found the 24-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Devin Compton.
MNPD officials said the shooter was driving dark-colored SUV.
