The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office says 5 of its 16 inmates who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered.
The sheriff’s office updated its numbers Thursday, saying its current jail count is 972. Right now, the jail has 94 inmates on some level of COVID-19 restriction.
At least nine employees have also tested positive for the virus. Three of them have since recovered.
