Prior to being found out, the stalker had attempted to place a tracking device on her car. Investigators believe the stalker broke into the woman’s home, stole her house key and had a duplicate key made. He came and went from the home several times, once photographing the woman while she slept with no clothes and stole some of her underwear.
The 20-year-old man from Pennsylvania, Mauricio Damian-Guerrero, is now charged with burglary after he reportedly drove nearly 400 miles to the New Hampshire home of a woman he met online, broke into her home and took pictures of her while she slept. Prosecutors said the stalker could face more charges, the Daily Mail reports.
The responding officers reportedly found the 20-year-old suspect climbing out of the woman’s attic and onto the roof. Investigators believe Damian-Guerrero entered the home with the intent to commit theft and invasion of privacy.
According to reports, Damian-Guerrero reportedly entered the 24-year-old victim’s house at least four times and admitted to planning to install a tracking device to the victim’s car in an effort to follow her. . The tracking device was seized by the responding officers.
Police officials said the 20-year-old man broke into the woman’s home, stole her house key and had a duplicate key made. Damian-Guerrero reportedly came and went from the home several times, once photographing the woman while she slept with no clothes.
In the attic, where the suspect had been spending time, investigators reportedly found food, cups of urine, headphones along with a tracking device he intended to place in the woman’s vehicle, police said.
The 20-year-old suspect was arrested on February 9 and charged with four counts of burglary. Damian-Guerrero is required to wear a GPS tracking bracelet and barred from entering the state of New Hampshire, per reports, He is also forbidden from having any contact the victim.
Prosecutors are seeking additional charges against Damian-Guerrero. They say the suspect met the victim on the internet content subscription service OnlyFans. The was identified by the initials R.N., court records say.
The 24-year-old woman reportedly gave her address because she wanted him to buy her a new TV and a fireplace. During an interview with investigators, the woman reportedly said that she never wanted to meet in person.
On Feb. 9, the victim and her housemate called police after they heard someone inside her home. The woman told the responding officers that she had awoken to the suspect standing in her doorway.
The woman also told investigators that she had seen Damian-Guerrero drive past her residence before and that he had previously admitted to sleeping in a parking lot outside her old apartment building.
