Knoxville, TENNESSEE – Knoxville Police Department officials said the fatal shooting occurred right after 11 p.m. late Saturday night.
It happened on Joe Lewis Road.
Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.
Police said the 18-year-old victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Witnesses told investigators that multiple suspects were seen running from the scene.
No suspects have been arrested, police said.
