Nashville, TENNESSEE – MNPD officials said the fatal shooting occurred right after 1 a.m. early Sunday morning.
It happened in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Woodland Pointe Drive.
Metro Police said the 31-year-old victim, later identified as Nelson Soto, was found deceased with multiple gunshot wounds sitting in the driver’s seat of a Kia Forte.
Police officials said that the victim’s female passenger was also shot.
The unidentified female victim was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
