The 31-year-old dad, who had no underlying health conditions, died two weeks after getting the COVID-19 vaccine. The man reportedly died from a rare blood clot triggered by the Coronavirus vaccine, an inquest has confirmed. The father received his vaccination on April 27 last year before complaining of constant headaches. He was then rushed to the hospital on May 11, after collapsing in the living room where he was found unresponsive. Unfortunately, he died three days later.
The 31-year-old dad, Tom Dudley, reportedly had no underlying health conditions. Doctors said the father reportedly died from a rare blood clot triggered by AstraZeneca’s COVID vaccine. The father reportedly died days before he would have been recommended for an alternative.
Dudley reportedly got his first dose near his home on April 27, 2021, the Daily Mail reports.
According to the inquest, the 31-year-old father began to suffer headaches within days. Just 14 days after getting his COVID-19 vaccine, Dudley was found unresponsive.
The 31-year-old father of two was taken to a hospital, where doctors said the bleed on his brain was incurable. Unfortunately, Dudley died three days later.
One of the doctors who treated the 31-year-old dad following the clot reportedly told the inquest that Dudley would still be alive today if he was given a different vaccine.
Dudley’s mother, Alison, reportedly said: “He had lots of friends. He loved his two girls very much. He was very family orientated. He drove us mad most of the time with his very unfunny jokes. He was just a wonderful son. I loved him.”
Dr. Girogia Saccullo said the 31-year-old father had suffered a very, very intensive bleed on his brain.
Doctor Saccullo also said that surgery and treatment was undertaken at the hospital, but that it did not have the expected benefits. Similar adverse effects had not been seen in those who had other vaccines, the doctor also said.
Coroner Rawden recorded the cause of death as a bleed on the brain, caused by the COVID-19 vaccine, the Daily Mail reports.
Coroner Rawden released the following statement: “At the time this was not a known and recognized complication of this vaccine. It seems to me that the guidelines have been changed. They were changed very, very quickly after Tom had his vaccination, therefore, the risk to these people in the future that are going to have the vaccination is significantly reduced.”
She recorded Tom’s cause of death as a cerebral haemorrhage caused by vaccine induced thrombocytopenia, the inquest confirms.
