Per reports, the 8-year-old boy lost his life while attempting to protect his younger sister from moIestation.
Police officials said that the 23-year-old man reportedly used a hammer, knife, and lighter fluid in this incident.
Dante was decIared brain dead following the attack and died six days later.
“Trying to save his sister from this child moIester, and that’s why he was beat the worst,” said Dante’s grandmother, Monique.
