Nashville, TN – Nashville police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a 44-year-old woman with life-changing injuries.
Traffic Division investigators said the crash happened on May 30 on Millwood Drive near Murfreesboro Pike. According to the investigation, a dark maroon sedan struck the woman while she was standing behind her parked vehicle on the side of the road before leaving the scene.
Police said the vehicle involved is expected to have damage to the passenger-side corner of the windshield following the collision.
The woman was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she later lost her leg due to the severity of her injuries.
Investigators are continuing efforts to locate the driver and vehicle involved in the crash. Authorities are urging anyone who may have information about the dark maroon sedan or the person responsible to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
