Williamson County, TENNESSEE – According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred around 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
It happened in the northbound lanes of I-65.
Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that Ford F250 was traveling in the left lane on I-65 northbound when he struck a pedestrian.
The 24-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead.
He was later identified as Jacob Almazan.
Almazan was reportedly walking in the fast lane when he was struck.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, no charges are pending against the driver.
